2nd July 2005 Kite surfing: Aberdovey Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 15-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 - 3 ft Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sat it out on the beach in dispondent mood for the morning coming to the conclusion that there just wouldn't be any wind.....................WRONG. Just after 3pm it arrived, and it was well worth the wait. Out on the 17m for an hour or two until it became obvious that with around 18+ knots I was in danger of losing control of kite, board and bowels !! Changed to the 12m and felt immediately more in control ending the day with a great session blasting into and over the surf, finally getting out of the water at around 8:30pm. Around 12+ kites out on an eventually superb, but tiring day. |
